Setup questions
Questions buyers actually ask before ordering, answered without sales language. If something here is not clear, ask — a wrong assumption at this stage costs a lot more after a 20 kg parcel has shipped.
How many phones fit in one chassis?
Our stocked builds are twenty slots per chassis. That number comes from the USB controller board, not from the box: one board addresses twenty handsets. Larger farms are built by adding chassis, not by crowding one board.
What exactly arrives in the parcel?
The chassis with handsets installed, the controller board wired, and the power supply. A controlling computer is not included unless you order one — the catalogue lists it as a separate item.
Does it need a dedicated computer?
One machine can drive several chassis over USB, but each chassis needs its own controller connection. The practical limit is the host's USB bandwidth and CPU, not the number of boxes.
What about power?
Twenty handsets charging plus the board is a real load on a domestic circuit. Check the socket rating before the unit arrives — this is the single most common thing buyers discover too late.
Are the handsets new?
No. Farm builds use refurbished handsets, and that is what makes the price what it is. Every product page carries the exact model and memory configuration from the supplier listing.
Can I get a model that is not listed?
Sometimes. Ask with the model name — if the workshop can source it, you get a quote; if not, you get a straight no rather than a maybe.
