Shipping
Every build ships from China by air freight. Nothing leaves the workshop until the exact configuration is confirmed with you in writing.
How the cost is calculated
Air freight charges volumetric weight, not actual weight. A phone farm chassis is a large light box, so the billable figure is normally higher than what the scale shows:
| Chassis size | Actual weight | Volumetric (L×W×H/5000) | Billed on |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60×50×40 cm | ~15 kg | 24 kg | 24 kg |
| 70×55×45 cm | ~22 kg | 34.6 kg | 34.6 kg |
| Hub / parts 40×30×20 cm | ~4 kg | 4.8 kg | 4.8 kg |
This is why we do not publish a single flat rate: the same chassis costs different money to Istanbul and to Toronto. You get one written quote for your address before any payment, and that quote is what you pay.
What you receive
- The chassis assembled, with handsets installed and the board tested.
- Photographs of your actual unit before it is boxed.
- A tracking number as soon as the parcel is handed to the carrier.
Customs and duties
Import duty and local taxes are paid by the buyer and are not included in the freight quote. We declare the goods honestly — electronics assembly — and we will not under-declare value on request, because a seized parcel costs you the whole order rather than the duty.
Damage in transit
Photograph the parcel before opening it if the outer box arrives damaged. Carrier claims require that photograph, and without it compensation is refused. Send us the photographs and the tracking number and we will file the claim.
